Last day of practice


 Friday 26 was the fourth and last day of teaching practice.

This day was soooo relaxed as we (my partner "Marianita" and I) spent 3 hours (from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm) just printing and copying documents.

It sounds easy and relaxed but in my opinion, it was not, because I was standing on my feet those 3 hours and my foot started hurting.

But, even that, I preferred doing that rather than teaching, and that is because I really do not like teaching something that I even do not know about. 

I have to be prepared for giving a class since I am an organized person, so I have to know in advance what kind of topic I will teach.

Regardless of this, the fourth teaching practice certainly helped me to develop more in an academic and professional way.

I am satisfied with all that I did during the teaching practices and the results of it.

So, I am grateful to have this subject that is crucial in my development as a teacher; and of course, I am truly grateful for having an excellent teacher (you, teacher Marysol).

 Student-Teacher Presentation Hi c: my name is Damaris Chávez Leyva better known as "Dam". I´m a last semester (semester 8) student of the BA in English Teaching. I am 22 years old (almost 23 years old since my birthday is the 23 of July). Honestly, at the start of the BA, I did not want to become a teacher but now that I gained practice at teaching, I can say that I have gotten used to it and now, I am thinking about the possibility of becoming a teacher right away I finish the BA. ~ 2nd day of practice ~

  As I was not able to attend Friday 12, I went Thursday 11 to replenish the day I didn't went. From 3 PM to 4 PM we didn't did anything but from 4 PM to 7 PM I was assigned to a teacher (Diana) as an Teacher Aid. Teacher Diana told me to give the half of the 3 classes to practice. It was easy and entertained for me because it was an advance level (8) and I prefer working with teenagers and students with intermediate and advanced level of English. I can tell I gave good classes because students were able to finish the activities without struggling and also, because they laugh a lot during my classes.
